Center For Special Weapons Effects, NBC Threats, Technology Transfer and Resources (O&M)

Under the CNTTR II Operation and Maintenance support contract, AISG Government Systems engineers performed the following functions: Maintained operational availability of the CNTTR II and Operational Support Network (OSN) computing system and communication resources required to store, manipulate and disseminate available technical information pertaining to the WMD threat potential, including DTRA internal scientific and modeling computer hardware and software assets. AISG was responsible for the development of modifications and enhancements that more closely satisfy user requirements, and transfer of these technologies to the user operational environment, both in classified and unclassified modes. In addition, AISG established prediction models, engineering codes, technologies and tools to assist in gaming, weapon effects, hazard prediction, and consequence assessment.

AISG engineers performed the following functions: Provided research and development assistance to facilitate design, evaluation, validation and verification of the technical capabilities, interfaces, security and connectivity of the hardware and software that comprise the research and development framework of the Center for Special Weapons Effects, NBC Threats, Technology Transfer, and Resources (CNTTR II). AISG researched, evaluated, and implemented improvements in methodologies that facilitate enhancements to system interfaces and connectivity to classified and unclassified databases. Additionally, AISG applied the required technical expertise to match DTRA weapon effects modeling and simulation resources with customer needs worldwide, and transitioned these refinements into the operational support infrastructure. Developed test bed operations centers in support of the biological defense initiative, supported systems and network connectivity for White Sands Missile Range, and currently integrating existing DTRA toolsets with ongoing test beds. Recommended, evaluated, validated and verified configuration changes for hardware and software supporting the operation of DTRA technologies and codes resident in the Modeling and Simulation Center.

AISG is providing senior level Training personnel who have expertise and experience in Program Managing and Supervising various MSC Code N4 Training Support Services. AISG conducts individual analysis and participates in group analytical projects on specific issues. For example, AISG is teaching a variety of logistics courses to include “Supply Management - Supply and Configuration Management Principles and Material Financial Control System-Retail Afloat (MFCS-RA).” The Supply Management - Supply and Configuration Management Principles course, includes MSC’s Automated Supply Management Program, Procurement, Receipt, Stowage, and Issue Cycle Configuration Management. The Material Financial Control System-Retail Afloat (MFCS-RA) covers training in inventory and financial management as it applies for T-AO load items and bulk petroleum/fuels management. Course topics include pollution abatement and control, safety in handling petroleum products, petroleum specifications and inspections, aviation fuels, and fleet oiler operations.
